Can you say you ever pulled a plane?
Join the sleuths on Saturday April 7 as we participate in support of the United Way of Miami-Dade and pull a 164 ton Boeing 757. We are looking for a team of 12 athletes 18 an over to participate on the Bear Cut Team. The donation per person on the plane pull team is 50/person and all proceeds go to the United Way of Miami-Dade. Prizes will be given to the first, second and third places as well as winner for most “Team Spirit”.
There will be family fun, food and games for the kids; bouncy castles, kid’s zone, fire truck engine, food trucks, dunk tank, and live DJ that will play your team song when it ‘s your turn to pull.
The plane pull event is on Saturday, April 7 from 10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the UPS Miami Airport Hub, (BLDG 807) 3500 NW 64th Avenue, Miami 33122. Teams of 12 will compete for the fastest time getting a B-757 to the finish line – 42 feet down the runway. The team with the fastest time wins! We will be pulling the plane on the actual Miami International Airport Tarmac and each person will need to pass a background check with MDP. Team submission must be completed by March 23.
